Customer Service Representative
Job Description:
As a Customer Service Representative at Playground Premium Auto Recycling, you will be an essential part of our team, representing the front-line of our business. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service to our valued clients, ensuring they have a seamless shopping experience on our e-commerce platform. You will be the bridge between our company and our customers, offering expert assistance, resolving inquiries, and providing product guidance. Your dedication to customer satisfaction will directly impact our brand reputation and overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via various channels (phone, email, live chat).
- Assist customers with product selection, compatibility, and technical information.
- Handle order-related concerns, including tracking shipments, processing returns, and issuing refunds.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints with patience and empathy.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely resolution of complex issues.
- Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends to better serve our customers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and customer-centric initiatives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the automotive industry (though not mandatory).
- Strong passion for cars and automotive products, with basic knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Patience and empathy when dealing with customers, ensuring a positive experience even in challenging situations.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in using e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and other customer service tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing customer orders and information.
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education is a plus).
The Location:
Our shop is located in the southern Port Washington industrial park, about 5 minutes north of the Grafton Costco.
The Hours:
Standard business hours around 8am-5pm - No weekends.
The Pay:
Pay for this position is highly dependent on background and skills but starts at $16-20+ per hour. 2 weeks of paid time off in the 1st year. Health benefits to be discussed.
